Who is your fave person on the Lawrence Welk show and will you sign my guestbook?
i have a couple of favorites. one is Bill Page the sax player (he was partners with my mom in 2 donut shops (one in long beach and one in torrance) in california. another is myron florin (the accordian player- my parents lived down the street from him a long long long time ago and when they (my parents) went over to his house to play canasta, to keep me occupied, he would let me play with one of his accordians. i also like the lennon sisters because i had a crush on all three of them when i was like 8 or 9 years old
Reply:Mary Lou Metzger. I used to get the Lawrence Welk calendar and gave a party one year because her birthday (listed on the calendar) coincided with "..the day Felix Unger was asked to leave his place of residence." Great party.
