Question about guestbook?

I'm having a small wedding of about 30 guests. Should I still get a guestbook?

Question about guestbook?
i would do this instead:

have them sign the matting so you can see it all the time.
Reply:I did have less than 30 people and had a guest book. But I am a memory junkie.

If you dont think you will ever want to look at it in the future for memory sake then dont get it, but I think they are a good idea.
Reply:YES, its still nice to have.
Reply:You might think about doing the guest book where someone takes a polaroid of all the guests and then everyone has their own page with their picture, name and advice or best wishes for the couple. They also make a scroll that guests can sign.
Reply:I would definitely get a guest book. It doesn't seem like a lot of people but years and years from now when you go back to look at who was there you probably will forget a couple. I think you would have a great memory at your finger tips if you got one.
Reply:Yes, even with 30 people, you still want the memory of who attended!!
Reply:either that or get a signable pic. frame. just to remember everyone who came
Reply:You may want to set out an address type book or ask that the people who do attend include their addresses. You could place a notecard with it asking for this info.

This will help with addressing Thank you cards too.
Reply:Do a signature photo frame of a signature plate. I bought the plate at wal mart for 20 bucks. Don't get a guest book, you will never look at it. If you get a frame or plate you can look at it. It was a big hit at my wedding!
Reply:i had a small wedding also, around 40 guest came and i used a signing frame that i got from target. Small and perfect. Another idea is a serving dish they can sign, again from target or any other retailer.. hope this helps
Reply:I think so. Mine is small too %26amp; I bought one. It's nice to have for memories %26amp; also it will help you remember who was there (in the chaos of the day) for when you send thank you notes.
Reply:You need to make a record of those who attend the event even though there will be a small number. It is a great way to get the info on someone for a thank you if they bring a gift. If you don't want one of the larger fancier books you can make your own if your crafty. you would be surprised what you can find on the internet to use for pages or even make your own on fancy cardstock. Be creative.
Reply:Do the book or the frame, it's a keepsake of your wedding day no matter how many people are involved.
Reply:Yes, memories are always good to have. I had one for 60 people %26amp; not everyone signed the damn thing either.
Reply:i have 35 guests and I'm gonna get one...good memories!
Reply:I would say yes. It's a nice keepsake of all those who were there that day, and the nice messages they left for you. Good luck!
Reply:We are not getting one and we are going to have near 200 people at our wedding. We are doing a signature board with one of our engagement pictures in it. I think we might also so a "wishes for the bride and groom" box. It is a nice box (leather or otherwise) with notecards and pens on the table where the guestbook would be. People can write tips for a happy marriage, congrats, or whatever else they want to put on it. I mean really.... I will NEVER look at the guest book. That is what pictures are for.
Reply:Yes, I think you should. Just get creative and make one that's appropriate for the number of guests you have. Maybe a picture w/ a frame you can sign?? :-)
Reply:We had 175 guest attend our wedding and we did not have a guestbook. I dont think it is really necessary these days. You have the cards from everyone, so you know who attended.
