There is a sitewide problem involving flash-based objects in the blog (i.e. videos, photo slideshows, music players, and various other widgets) that started at the end of September 2008. Re-installing the Flash player plug-in, using different browsers, or re-embedding the object has no effect. Yahoo has stopped fixing bugs in Yahoo! 360 starting in October 2007, so increased problems are the result. Unless a user creates a workaround for the issue (like in the case of YouTube, Google Video, Yahoo! Video and some widgets from MyYearbook), then you can't post a widget in a Yahoo! 360 blog entry. A blog entry is the only location that an embedded slideshow can be placed. For some older entries, you can click on the "Comment" link below the entry to see some embedded objects.
So, your slideshow hasn't been removed, it's just not showing because Yahoo! 360 no longer recognizes the code.

NOTE: The Y!360 team is no longer addressing bug reports, as it prepares to migrate parts of 360 to a universal profile system (UPS). I'd like to make my own Wedding Guestbook
Does anyone have any ideas or pictures and directions?

I had considered doing this, but it was just too much work for me at the time. I was told to get some scrap booking materials - card stock could be the pages and you'd have to fill in the headings and lines.
For the covers - front and back - you could use thick card stock or cardboard and attach fabric - you'd probably have to attach it with glue.
For an easy route, you may want to check Wal Mart - then add your colors to it. That is what I did with the ring pillow I bought.

Then, afterward, you can affix them all in a scrapbook along with some of your personal pictures that you get (not the photographer ones), cards you get in the mail, invitation, and any other wedding-related stuff.
Reply:i love to scrapbook, so i am taking the engagement pictures that we have and making them into a scrapbook. i am going to put one picture on each page and decorate the pages a little bit, then im going to set it out with a sharpie so people can write in that!
if you aren't in to scrapbooking, you can go online to a photo website (my favorite is www.snapfish.com) and upload pictures of the two of you there and arrange them into a photo album. after you do that, the send you a bound photo album in the mail and there you go! a fun wedding guestbook!!! just set it out with a pen or a marker and have people write you notes and sign there names on that... if you need anymore suggestions, feel free to look me up!

Reply:We took a plain sketch book (8X10) and covered the hardcover in our BM dress fabric. Then we affixed a double heart charm to the front that matched our invitations. I enlisted my cousins to take Polaroids of each guest/couple as they came in (2 cameras, 2 cousins!) and then the picture gets stuck in the book with glue dots and the guests write a message around it for us. I think it's going to be a lot of fun and then we remember what everyone looked like that day (which will help me learn who is who in my fiance's GIANT family lol!)

When foreign leaders (presidents or monarchs) sign a guestbook, what do they write?
Do they just sign their name? I saw pictures of President Bush signing a guestbook when he visited Estonia and Latvia recently. I also saw photos of Queen Elizabeth signing guestbooks in the same countries. Just wondering what they wrote.

How do you creat a feedback or guestbook?
You can do this with PHP/MySQL; PHP/PSQL; ASP/Access; etc. My preference would be with PHP/MySQL. Create your database, make a table with the needed columns (name, comment, date). In PHP, make a form with an input text box and submit button. Use the PHP insert statement. "INSERT INTO table (name, comment, date) VALUES ('$name', '$comment', '$date')" If you need more info, message me on Yahoo, and I'll walk you through it. Or, check out the PHP Manual site -- great site (Google it to find the URL).

At the ceremony I'm having an actual guestbook, and the attendant will be in charge of it to try to have guests sign as they come in.
At the reception we purchased a large photo frame and mat that holds a 5x7 in it at Hobby Lobby, and we're having everyone sign the autograph mat then.

There are books with lines. There are videos. There are loose postcards which can be tied together in a little book after the wedding. Or you can get an unlined book, set out colored pens and a Polaroid camera and each guest can create a page.
Whatever you do, ask someone to oversee it- either a bridesmaid or someone special who was not in the wedding party and you want to give them a job. She can check throughout the evening that everyone gets to it-- if you just set it out, some people will forget to do it.

Reply:guest books are pretty graet, but alot of people are going for those huge frames with a photo in the center of you two, they can write all over it and whatnot...but i would do both if you wanna know the truth, the photos are so huge, and putting them up and having them look nice is crazy...
but word of advise, my friend did one of those platters with the engraving pen, it didnt work as well, and she has no type of guest book knowing who was there and wasnt, so advoid that honestly...but the platters that use pens are nice as well..

Over the years you can loose touch with so many people or sad events can happen so it can be lovely to look back on the good wishes whether they be sentimental, funny whatever. You can choose where you want to put the guest book, have it passed round or whatever. In all honesty if it is a big wedding it is unlikely everyone will sign it, owing to dancing etc or just too many around the table signing when a person was going to do it and forgot to return. However, it is still lovely to get so many good wishes. Again if you think it is a bit soppy and just not your things then you just don't have one.

Reply:we are having a poloroid guest book. when the guests arrive they have their photo taken and when the photo is dry we are getting the guests to put their message at the bottom. so in the future when we look back you can see what everyone looked like, what they were wearing and have a personal message from them.

Reply:Sometimes you have a guest book attendant maybe like a younger sister who isn't in the ceremony or a aunt, cousin etc to attend the book. Basically they stand there prior to the ceremony and make sure everyone signs the book. Otherwise you put it on a stand or table and just hope everyone signs

It was done on a slightly larger scale, with a photographic mat designed for an 8X10 portrait in the primary wedding colour, and it was put out with a gold ink pen for the guests to sign. After the wedding the couple had a really special frame for one of their wedding photos that will be seen a lot more than a 'guest book' full of mostly empty pages that will be quickly relegated to book shelf if not a junk drawer!
So not only is it nicer and more useful, it's less expensive too :)
And yes they had it set up at the entrance to the reception hall... anyone who didn't get a chance to sign on the way in could sign on the way out :)

When Adding new page you have to choose type for it..
And choose GuestBook PAge
