You can't.





Guestbooks are created in programming languages, such as perl/ cgi or php. So unless you're a programmer who can write one yourself, you won't be able to make your own guestbook.





You can, however, use a *free* third party service, such as Bravenet, to host a guestbook for you. All you have to do is register at the service and create a new account. The service will generate a guestbook for you with its own address. Then, to have your visitors actually sign and view it, you just place a link on your home page to the web address of the guestbook. When i posted a new entry on my Mash guestbook or on another one's, the previous entry on my guestbook disappeared. Why ? How can i take it back ?

You are not alone. I have also seen this "glitch".





I did a browser page refresh and it eventually did return and allowed me to delete it. Sometimes there is something in the HTML that is making it go "flaky".





If you find it particularly bothersome, please post an entry in the Yahoo!Mash Suggestion Board. That is where problem reports on the BETA product are being accepted.

There is a sitewide problem involving flash-based objects in the blog (i.e. videos, photo slideshows, music players, and various other widgets) that started at the end of September 2008. Re-installing the Flash player plug-in, using different browsers, or re-embedding the object has no effect. Yahoo has stopped fixing bugs in Yahoo! 360 starting in October 2007, so increased problems are the result. Unless a user creates a workaround for the issue (like in the case of YouTube, Google Video, Yahoo! Video and some widgets from MyYearbook), then you can't post a widget in a Yahoo! 360 blog entry. A blog entry is the only location that an embedded slideshow can be placed. For some older entries, you can click on the "Comment" link below the entry to see some embedded objects.





So, your slideshow hasn't been removed, it's just not showing because Yahoo! 360 no longer recognizes the code.

NOTE: The Y!360 team is no longer addressing bug reports, as it prepares to migrate parts of 360 to a universal profile system (UPS).
